Shemeka is a licensed mental health therapist (LPC) & certified Project Management Professional (PMP) specializing in leadership and curriculum development.

Elijah B. Henderson

Bobby believes that A Better Glynn includes a community that is informed and equipped to resolve issues as they arise. He uses his passion for criminal justice reform to impact the future state of education, economics, and electoral power for every individual within the county. Bobby is a local minister/elder specializing in discipleship that begins with loving one's neighbor.

John C. Richards, Jr.

John believes that A Better Glynn includes a community where our youth and young adults are empowered to lead. He uses his passion for social justice, leadership development, and community transformation to help mobilize people to shape their communities for a better future. John is a licensed attorney and pastor who specializes in strategic planning, leadership development, and policy advocacy.

Kendra Holmes

Kendra believes that A Better Glynn includes a community where Millenials are actively participating in and civically engaging the issues prevalent in our county. She uses her background and experience to impact public and social reforms in and around our county. Kendra is an advocate and entrepreneur who specializes in brand and marketing messaging and policy advocacy.

Kendra believes that A Better Glynn includes a community that cares deeply for all of its citizens and not just a select group. She uses her social capital and community involvement to ensure that those without a voice are heard throughout our county. Kendra specializes in civic engagement and community development.

Brandi Lyde-Whitfield

Brandi believes A Better Glynn is reflective of a community that encompasses the voices, ideas, and needs of the ENTIRE constituency. She is a Financial Advisor with deep roots and a deep commitment to our community. She looks to utilize that innate passion for helping others to bring awareness to issues of social injustice and a platform and voice to those who are often ignored and neglected.

Brooke Sellers

Brooke believes that A Better Glynn includes a future that is bright and abundant for all its citizens, young and old.She uses her passion for our youngest citizens to pursue equity and opportunity so that all can succeed. She is an involved mom who is determined to improve the future for the children and youth of Glynn County.

Laura Khurana

Laura believes that A Better Glynn includes engaged and hopeful citizens, meaningful connections across geographic and socioeconomic lines, and innovative solutions to the enduring inequities in our community. She uses her passion for amplifying underrepresented voices to hold local leaders accountable to the people they serve, advocate for systemic change, and inspire others to do the same. Laura is a mother, a clinical research professional, a lifelong visitor/recently full-time resident of the Golden Isles, and believes everyone in Glynn County deserves equal opportunity and access to a bright future.

Demetris Frazer

Demetris believes that A Better Glynn includes a place where youth can thrive and develop into young adults who change the world. Demetris uses his passion for sports, activism, and organizational leadership to develop clear paths for social justice advocacy for students and student-athletes. Demetris is a former college athlete who holds a degree in organizational leadership and is determined to pour back into his community.

Jason believes that A Better Glynn is a community that values all of its citizens. As a community leader, he is dedicated to holding the lives of each citizen as precious and valuable. Jason a native to Glynn County, a teacher, a coach, and a Christian, who is passionate about making our community better.

Taylor Ritz

Taylor believes A Better Glynn is a community where all voices are heard and included in our local government. She uses her heart for her community to uplift and amplify the voices of the marginalized and overlooked, to foster and fight for change in Glynn County. Taylor is a writer, copyeditor, and youth soccer coach using her skills to encourage equity and inclusion in The Golden Isles.

Samantha Gilder

Samantha believes that A Better Glynn includes a community that is proactively moving towards equality among all, with an emphasis on fair and equal treatment within the legal system. She uses her passion to advocate for legal reform to create equity among all communities as they move through the judicial processes. Samantha is a legal secretary with a bachelor’s in media communications and uses her skill to help leverage the fight to break prejudicial stigmas. 

Vendelyn Richardson

Vendelyn believes that A Better Glynn includes a community where our youth and young adults are empowered to lead in an inclusive community where all individuals regardless of race & other differences can thrive. She uses her passion for advocacy and civic engagement to help others become more involved locally. Vendelyn has a criminal justice background and uses her skills to ensure youth and elderly persons are treated with equal respect and that their needs are meet.
