The Legacy Leadership Academy is A Better Glynn’s equity-driven leadership development program for teens and adults who live, work, serve, or lead in Glynn County and surrounding communities. The Academy was created to identify, educate, and equip equity-driven leaders who are prepared to serve their communities, engage civically, advocate for change, and create meaningful impact. Through leadership development, community learning, civic engagement, service, and reflection, participants grow in their understanding of themselves, their communities, and their responsibility to help build a better Glynn.

    Legacy Leadership Academy serves youth ages 14–18 and adults who live, work, serve, or lead in Glynn County and surrounding communities.
    The program is designed for emerging and established leaders who want to strengthen their understanding of equity, civic engagement, advocacy, community service, and local issues.

Youth Leadership & Justice JourneyYouth participants may earn the opportunity to participate in Justice Journey through consistent attendance, active engagement, leadership growth, and commitment to the program.
Justice Journey allows students to explore history beyond the classroom, visit historic sites and HBCUs, engage with civic and community leaders, and reflect on what leadership and justice look like in action.
